Stop Missing the Human Layer of the Courtroom. Start Understanding the Signals That Influence Outcomes.

Most Attorneys are trained to analyze facts, testimony, and legal arguments.

Few are trained to recognize the nonverbal cues, behavioral patterns, and courtroom dynamics that influence how jurors, witnesses, clients, and opposing counsel perceive information.

Whether you're preparing for voir dire, presenting at trial, conducting a deposition, or meeting with clients, the ability to observe more effectively can change how you communicate, connect, and persuade.  In trial, what you don’t see can cost you missed signals, misread jurors, and lost opportunities to influence perception.

This isn’t something most Attorneys want to learn the week before trial.

It’s a skill set that becomes more valuable the earlier you begin developing it, so when you’re in voir dire, deposition, or mediation, you’re not thinking about it… you’re using it.

Bodies Don't Lie is a courtroom perception and jury intelligence system designed to help Attorneys strengthen their observational skills, improve trial presence, and develop a deeper understanding of human behavior in legal settings.

While this is especially powerful in trial settings, the same observational and communication skills apply directly to depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and client interactions.  If your work involves evaluating credibility, reading people, or influencing outcomes this applies.

What this looks like in practice

In voir dire, a juror may say “yes” while showing hesitation, giving you a chance to adjust before that perception gap matters.

In a deposition, a witness may appear consistent but reveal stress around key points showing you where to go deeper.

In mediation, parties may express agreement while signaling resistance allowing you to recalibrate before negotiations break down.

Most attorneys rely on what’s said.

This system helps you recognize what’s happening underneath it—and respond in real time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I sign up?

Once you enroll, you’ll receive immediate access to your private member portal. From there, you can log in and begin working through the training modules right away.

What will I have access to inside?

Inside the portal, you’ll find the full Bodies Don’t Lie system, including:  on-demand training modules, courtroom observation frameworks, and your observation notebook tools. You’ll also have access to the training library and ongoing additions as the system evolves.

Are there live components, or is this all self-paced?

In addition to the on-demand training, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in virtual Trial Labs, live sessions designed to help you apply what you’re learning in real time and observe how it works in practice.

How should I start once I’m inside?

Most members begin with the core modules to understand the observation framework, then move into applying it in their own cases and courtroom preparation.   From there, the Trial Labs and ongoing content help reinforce and refine those skills over time.

When should I start using this?

This isn’t something most attorneys want to learn the week before trial. It’s a skill set that becomes more valuable the earlier you begin developing it. The framework is designed to be applied as you work during depositions, client conversations, and case preparation—so that by the time you’re in voir dire or trial, you’re not thinking about it, you’re using it.

Like any trial skill, the advantage comes from repetition and refinement, not last-minute preparation.

Is this something I go through once, or ongoing?

This is designed as an ongoing system—not a one-time training.  You can revisit modules, apply the frameworks across different cases, and continue developing your observation and courtroom awareness over time.

Is this a body language certification program?

No. Bodies Don't Lie is a courtroom perception and observational intelligence program designed specifically for legal professionals.

In addition to body language principles, Attorneys learn about behavioral patterns, facial mapping, communication styles, color psychology, and observational frameworks that can provide insight into how individuals process information, make decisions, and respond under pressure.

The goal is not to label behavior, but to help Attorneys become more observant, intentional, and effective communicators.

Will this teach me how to detect deception?

No. Bodies Don't Lie is not a lie detection program.

Instead, Attorneys learn how to identify behavioral changes, communication patterns, and areas that may warrant additional exploration. These observations can help Attorneys ask better questions, gather more information, adapt their communication strategy, and make more informed decisions about their next steps. The focus is on increasing awareness and improving observation.

How often is new content added?

New resources and training materials are added regularly, along with monthly Trial Labs.

Participants often find that the insights gained from the program complement their legal education by focusing on the human behavior and communication dynamics that influence legal outcomes.

Still Have Questions?

Bodies Don’t Lie is designed for attorneys who want to sharpen their observational skills, strengthen courtroom presence, and better understand the human dynamics that influence legal outcomes.
